Formal questions: what is your profession?  Ne iş yapıyorsunuz?
What is your occupation? mesleğiniz nedir?
Informal questions: what is your profession? Ne iş yapıyorsun?
What is your occupation? mesleğin ne?

I'm a teacher.  Ben bir öğretmenim.
