Learning the Turkish alphabet is important because its structure is used in everyday conversation. Before starting this video, make sure you hit the subscribe button and bell down below. The Turkish alphabet has 29 letters; Most Turkish letters are similar in pronunciation to their English counterparts, but Seven which  ( Çç, Ğğ, Iı, İi, Öö, Şş, Üü) have been modified from their Latin original to reflect the actual sounds of spoken Turkish.   Hi everyone, welcome to this exciting journey of learning Turkish. My name is Mahsa & I will teach you some basic vocabulary for newcomers. Let's get started! The first word I will teach you is " Merhaba" which means Hello, Hi . The other word you can use is Selam. These words are used for daily greetings in Turkey. Now, moving on to the word Ben means I .  "Ben" is the subject pronoun in Turkish used for the one "doing" verb. Anyway, let's get on with,  some daily nouns that you can hear them are such as, Ev means home,  Fırın which is where you go to place for fresh bread  (Ekmek) because it implies bakery,  And lastly, taksi means taxi. Let's dig into the first verb, gel which means come, and another very useful verb is git which means go.
